I am excited to be participating in the 25th Annual Poetry Super Highway Great Poetry Exchange!
Earlier this year, 95 poets were selected to randomly exchange their poetry books with other participants. As part of the exchange, I received a copy of Atmosphere by Michael Friedman — a collection of poems that explores the elusiveness of death and loss to the living and the interplay of ritual, science, and spirituality.
And a copy of Sleeping with Ghosts was sent to Kendall A. Bell, whose book The Contortionist, was also included in the exchange. Her book, which was sent to one of the other 95 poets, includes 16 poems inspired by the album “Portals” by Melanie Martinez.
Huge shout-out to Rick Lupert at Poetry Super Highway for including me in this project! You can see more of his work on his website here.
