Happy Birthday, MANIFEST (zine)!

It was rather serendipitous last year that the first issue of MANIFEST (zine) came out just in time for International Zine Month! An auspicious debut and an amazing first year! So, today we celebrate! Happy Birthday MANIFEST (zine)…and many more!

What our readers are saying…

SLEEPING WITH GHOSTS

FROM MY BUTTON BOX
by JUDITH BRUDER

“There’s a gracious tenacity to these essays, an elegant insistence that meaning can be found amid loss, whether of a dear husband of fifty-eight years, or of sustaining companionship during a pandemic, or of a seemingly endless future in an octogenarian’s life.”

Robert Braile, a former book critic for The Boston Globe

SAY YES! TO YOUR CREATIVE SELF
by MARY O’CONNOR

“Author Mary O’Connor is obviously creative in many ways, one of which is to help readers be able to tap into their creative selves in more, well, creative ways. This is a book that simultaneously is emotionally calming and intellectually satisfying.”

Karen Rancourt, Ph.D., author and advice columnist (Ask Dr. Gramma Karen)

EVIDENCE OF FLOSSING
by JEN PAYNE

“What ties together this mixture of photography, graphic design, and poetry, is the passion of Jennifer Payne. Her poetry is a startling mix, beautiful, but also trenchant. She is sometimes outraged, sometimes thrilled, but always passionate. This really is an extraordinary little book!”

Judith Bruder, author, lecturer, scholar

EVIDENCE OF FLOSSING
by JEN PAYNE

“An unflinching account of our unshakeable relationship to the modern world around us, God, nature, and ourselves.”

David W. Berner, Author & NPR Contributor

EVIDENCE OF FLOSSING

“Evidence of Flossing is a most unusual book, richly thoughtful and sorely, sorely needed.”

Nancy Fitz-Hugh Meneely, author, Letter from Italy, 1944
